Multi Sport Camp – Summer Day Camp (9 AM – 4 PM)

  • Do you want to give your child the opportunity to try many different sports?
  • Are you looking for a day camp in Stockholm?
  • Then Multi Sport Camp is the summer camp for you!

Welcome to this summer’s sports adventure at Multi Sport Camp!

Multi Sport Camp is a sports day camp for children and youths aged 6–15, with a focus on joy of movement, development, and community. Our training programmes are individually adapted, and groups are organised based on age.

During the camp week, participants get to try more than 12 different sports, all led by professional and dedicated coaches. With a varied mix of individual sports and team sports, we train technique, game play, and teamwork in a safe and inspiring environment. All equipment is included and can be borrowed on site.

Summer Sports

12+ sports every camp week!

  1. Selected sports

The sports at Multi Sport Camp are carefully selected to give children and youths a well-rounded and meaningful sports experience. By combining individual sports—where the focus is on personal development and responsibility—with team sports that strengthen cooperation and social skills, we create a balanced and development-focused training environment.

During the week, participants train several hours each day with experienced instructors who adapt the training to age and level. Training includes technique, tactics, match play, and mental training.

Our goal is to give children and youths the chance to develop in several different sports, build confidence, practise teamwork, and feel joy in a safe community with new friends. All necessary equipment is included and borrowed during the camp.

  2. 1. Kung Fu – New!

Camp Information

  1. Sport Campus GIH

Sport Campus GIH is peacefully located on the hill above Stockholm Stadium and offers a safe and inspiring environment for our camps. Here we have access to everything we need in one area—training facilities at the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH), the Tennis Stadium, and nature close by in Lill-Jansskogen. This creates perfect conditions for an active and content-rich sports week full of joy of movement.

At GIH, future PE teachers and coaches are educated—and since Multi Sport Camp started in 2005, many students have chosen to work as leaders at our camps. We combine experienced PE teachers with engaged coaches to ensure high quality. Our leaders adapt training to level and make sure all participants get a safe, developmental, and inspiring camp experience.

The result is a memorable summer week filled with joy, community, and new friendships—often for life.

  2. Leaders / Coaches

Our leaders are well trained and have extensive experience working with children and youths. Participants are divided into groups by age, and each group has a responsible group leader. The group leader follows the group throughout the week and becomes a safe point of contact that participants can always turn to with questions, concerns, or a need for support.

The number of participants per leader is adapted to the activity to ensure both quality and safety. For example, in football, groups of around 12 participants train with one leader, while activities such as climbing take place in much smaller groups with two participants per leader. This way we can provide the right support at each moment and create a safe, developmental, and secure training environment.

  3. Fair Play

Fair Play is a recurring theme throughout the camp and runs through all our activities. We actively work on how to be a great teammate, show respect for others, and take responsibility both on and off the field. Fair Play is about attitude, cooperation, and being a good role model.

Participants’ behaviour is recognised throughout the week—before, during, and after activities. Each camp week we award a Fair Play Prize to one participant who has shown exceptional respect, friendship, and team spirit.

More information about the Camp

  1. First day

On the first day we welcome all participants and introduce our coaches and leaders so that the children quickly feel safe on site.

We start with a joint and easy warm-up to get moving, get to know each other, and reduce any nervousness.

Then participants are divided into groups based on age and any previous requests. Children meet their group leader and their group for the rest of the week. If your child wishes to be in the same group as a friend, you are welcome to email us after completing the registration—we will do our best to accommodate the request.

We also go through information about the facilities, the camp, and the area so everyone feels comfortable with the location and structure.

During the day, participants get to try several different sports and activities. Our trained instructors ensure training is varied, inspiring, and adapted to each participant’s level.

  2. Lunch

Every day we serve a well-prepared lunch that gives participants energy for the day’s activities. Meals are adapted for active children and youths and are served together in a calm and pleasant environment.

Salad and bread are served with all meals. For participants with allergies or special diets, we of course offer alternative dishes—please state this during registration and we will make sure it’s correct.

    Example weekly menu:
    Monday: Lasagna
Tuesday: Meatballs with potatoes and lingonberries
    Wednesday: Pasta carbonara
    Thursday: Sausage stroganoff with rice

  3. What to bring
    • Water bottle
    • Outdoor shoes and indoor shoes (indoor shoes must have a light sole that does not mark the floor)
    • Extra clothes (at least one change of clothes)
    • Two snacks per day (e.g., sandwich, fruit, and a drink)

All camps and sports halls are nut-free. Please avoid snacks that contain nuts.

Lunch is included every day. Let us know during registration if your child has allergies or needs a special diet.

    Optional:

    • Towel and soap (showering is possible shortly before lunch)
    • All other equipment needed for the activities is included and borrowed from us.
  4. Times & drop-off/pick-up

Camp days run 09:00–16:00. If you need to drop off earlier or pick up later, we offer flexible drop-off and pick-up.

Staff are on site and participants are welcome from 08:00 to 17:00. Just email us in advance so we can plan.

  5. In case of rain

If it rains, training continues as planned in our indoor facilities—so the camp runs regardless of weather.

  6. Friends

A camp is a great opportunity for children and youths to meet others with similar interests and create new friendships. Through shared activities and experiences, participants get to cooperate, get to know each other, and build community naturally.

It’s perfectly fine to come to camp with or without friends—often it’s a mix, and we consider this when forming groups. If you want to attend with a friend, you can state this under “other information” during registration.

Many sports at camp are based on cooperation and team play. This helps children develop important social skills such as communication, collaboration, and respect—while learning the value of supporting and encouraging teammates.
